A view of the iconic Northumbrian castle which towers over the village on Holy Island; a unique place accessable only via a causeway from the mainland, or by sea.The interior of the castle was refurbished and reconfigured by Edwin Lutyens in the early 20th Century and there is a garden a short walk away designed by Gertrude Jekyll. The castle is now in the hands of the National Trust.
Image dimensions = 4 x 4 inches (102 x 102mm)
Outer dimensions including mount = 9 x 9 inches (229 x 229mm)
Outer dimensions including mount and frame (only relevant for framed option) = 10.25 x 10.25 inches (260 x 260mm)
A NOTE ON FRAMING:
All framed prints come with a hanging clip on the reverse and bumpers to protect your walls. They are ready to hang straight away.
The frames used are high quality oak effect frames. Hard to distinguish from solid timber frames, and with an uniformity of colour and absence of nuts and prominent wood grain which can be distracting on solid oak mouldings.
